"Don't Ask for the Dead Man's Golf Clubs" will be the topic of a session led by critically acclaimed author Lynn Kelly, Ph.D.. The event sponsored by the City Service Club will be held Thursday, June 10 at 8 am, at the City Hotel Ballroom, 33 City Rd. in Citytown.
Kelly's presentation will feature practical advice on how to recognize signs of grief and how to be of help to someone who is grieving.
Kelly, who holds a Ph.D. in communication from the University of Denver, is the author of "Don't Ask for the Dead Man's Golf Clubs", "What to Say and Do, and "What Not To", and "When a Friend Loses a Loved One." Kelly has appeared on the Today Show with Matt Lauer as well as on radio and television across the US. She has given talks to civic and service clubs throughout the country as well as being a featured presenter at the Million Dollar Marketing Forum in Toronto and for Healthone in Pinehurst, NC City Kiwanis is a service organization which supports local charities.
